First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stabilus.
Intern
The interview was short and they were very friendly. They explained my responsibilities and the work schedule, but didn't give me much more information about the role. They weren't very clear about the next steps.
- Tell me about yourself
- English conversations
Bachelorand
Started with a brief small talk, then some questions about me and my motivation for applying. After that, my technical skills were asked about individually, but without going into uncomfortable depth. In the final step, suitable topics for my thesis were suggested. I received an offer at the end of the conversation and the employment contract was signed a few weeks later. My start date was less than two months after sending the then still written application.
- Could you tell me about your programming skills and if you have any previous experience with NI LabVIEW?
- What are your career aspirations?
- Would you be interested in a role within project management?
Applications Engineer
The interview process was a relaxing one, consisting of 3 meetings where we discussed small technical situations and technical background. One of the questions was if you are willing to travel.
- Questions about their product, to explain how do you think is working.
- If you just finish the University the common question is about your degree project paper.
Bachelorand
The interview started with a discussion of potential topics that are currently advertised. Then, we discussed which of the topics would be the best fit for my course of study and for me personally. Afterwards, I got an insight into the production.
- Where do you see your strengths in terms of technical processing in one of the topics (regarding the thesis)?
