First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at St. Louis Arc.
Administrative
I had an initial screening, then a face-to-face interview, and finally a phone interview. It was pretty straightforward, but they didn't follow up afterwards, so I'm not sure what happened.
- Are you familiar with database operations?
House Manager
The interview was in 2 parts. First, I met my potential supervisor at the main offices. Second, I went to the house I would manage and met the adults who live there. I learned a lot about the job, like who I would report to, who I would supervise, and who the adults were that I would be supporting.
- What do you seek in a supervisor?
Director of Development
I was contacted by someone from the Executive Leadership team and we set up a series of meetings. Each meeting covered job duties, my personality, the culture at St. Louis Arc, and what's expected. At the same time, HR started getting all the paperwork together for hiring.
