First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at St. Francis College.
Graduate Student
The interview was quite nice, and it felt like a really positive and welcoming place to be. The panel was friendly, they communicated clearly, and the whole thing actually made me feel more confident and motivated about things going forward.
- Could you tell me why you're interested in this particular course?
- Please introduce yourself and elaborate on your academic background.
- What are your learning expectations from this course?
Student Advisor
I went through a panel interview, a video interview, and a behavioral interview for this role. It was a very stressful experience. They seemed to have no concern for the candidate experience. After making me jump through hoops, I found out they had already started training someone else. I had to chase them for a response, and their email back was generic and impersonal. It seems they had someone in mind already but put me through extensive interviews for their metrics. It left a bad taste and I'm no longer interested in them or recommending them.
- Can you tell me why you chose to attend this college?
Admissions Counselor
It was a video interview where I answered some questions and sent the video in to be reviewed. Then I got a call from my Supervisor and went in for an in-person interview with the director and assistant director. After that, they checked my references and I interviewed with the head of HR before getting an offer. The process was really comfortable, and the interviewers made me feel welcome.
- Tell me about a challenge you faced and how you managed to overcome it.
Software Developer
The interview process was easier than I anticipated. They asked straightforward questions about my favorite and least favorite subjects, about a project I worked on, my willingness to work on weekends, if I've encountered any innovations, and my five-year goals. There were also follow-up questions.
- Have you encountered any innovations?
