I had a 30-minute phone interview. The interviewer asked mainly standard personality and teamwork questions. He was very friendly. I think I did okay, but didn't get an offer.

I applied for a bunch of internships and got a phone interview for a project management one. The interview was mostly about my resume, digging into past experiences and why I wanted to do management. After that, I had one-on-one interviews with four different project managers, and they all asked the same stuff. It wasn't technical, just super chill and friendly. I didn't get that offer, but then I had a couple more phone interviews for an engineering intern position a week later and got an offer a couple weeks after that, no in-person interview needed. I did apply for both, but I think the first interview kinda helped me get the second. My advice is to really know your resume inside and out and be ready to talk about everything on it.

I got a call from the Reliability manager at SSL. They asked me to come in for an interview at the end of the week. During the interview, I gave a brief description of the work I had done in college, and they asked me technical questions regarding passive/active devices and reliability. There were also some scenario questions. I was hired and have been working there ever since.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • What is the definition of active and passive devices?
