I had a 30 min phone screen with the manager who warned me he might interrupt and I wouldn't have time for questions. Then I had an all-day on-site with 15 min with a recruiter and 5 one-hour 1:1s with managers and team members. They mentioned SSL's interview process is 100% behavioral and they took me to lunch. The day finished with a 30 min meeting with CORE engineering leaders. I heard back 8 days later that I didn't get an offer.

I applied online and the first thing that happened was a screening interview with HR. She was nice and asked about my past experience, successes and failures. Then, she set up a second phone interview with the hiring engineering manager right away. The hiring manager was also very friendly. He talked a bit about the job, the company, and himself, and then I talked about my past accomplishments. It seemed to go well, even though I didn't have the PCB experience they needed. Also, they were looking for someone for a second shift, which wasn't in the job description, and I mentioned that wouldn't be ideal for my family. I got a really good feeling about the people and the company; it seems like a great career opportunity based on my interviews.

I interviewed with 3 people and the HR manager. The conversations were pleasant and led to a one-on-one with technical managers. It was a full day onsite, including a facility tour showing manufacturing stages. There were some technical questions, specific to the industry, and relevant for those with satellite backgrounds.
