The interview process was not too bad. I had four back to back 30 minute interviews without a break. After the interviews I sent thank you letters to everyone I interviewed with. I was told by HR that they would follow up with me to let me know what they had decided but I was never contacted. I even sent an email to follow up and never got a reply back. I think that this is highly unprofessional. I spent three hours interviewing and they did not even have the courtesy of sending me an email to let me know as to what they had decided.

Behavioral Technical Group Presentation

I was phone and in-person interviewed twice. The first time, I spoke with the person who would be my supervisor. The second time, I met with several groups that the new hire would be collaborating with. They spent over 4 hours interviewing me that day. After more than 7 hours total interviewing with this company, I never heard back about being hired for the role. For that much time commitment, a simple 'thanks but no thanks' email would have been a professional courtesy.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They asked about my skills and behaviors at each stage. When I asked about some negative company reviews, the HR Director did not take it well. The company seems like one where you must act a certain way, like a Stepford Wives situation. I was fine not getting the job and felt weird after the very long interview process.

First, there were two 30-minute phone interviews, followed by an in-person interview at their office, for which they covered my travel from Buffalo. During the in-person portion, I met with a few different people, including Product Owners, Data Architects, and other Developers. The interviews were technically challenging and thorough, but still felt friendly.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • I was presented with a data-related problem and asked to describe my approach to solving it.

Pretty easy interview process. I only had 1 interview over the phone that lasted about 15 minutes. I asked the interviewer if there was anything on my resume that would concern her for me being successful for this position and all she said was NO. Make sure you research good questions to ask the interviewer!!
