First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Square Panda.
Marketing Manager
The interview was generally relaxed. They mostly asked general and introductory questions. They asked for examples of email automation and managing B2B and B2C marketing and social campaigns. Towards the end, they asked about the software I'm familiar with and to list them, then focused on Odoo.
- What software do you use?
- What agile systems are you familiar with?
- How many campaigns have you worked on?
Curriculum Developer
The interview process was terrible. HR interns conducted interviews and scheduled them without checking candidate availability. I was interviewed for two different roles over three months. For the first role, I completed all rounds and expected an offer, but after waiting three weeks, I learned from the Head HR that the intern had incorrectly stated I withdrew my application. The interns were unreachable for weeks prior. For the second role, I repeatedly asked for the job description, and the interviewer didn't even have my CV. The company culture seems to be one of blame and lack of ownership. I advise against applying here, despite the Head HR's public recognition.
- Can you tell me about your soft skills?
- Can you describe your technical skills?
Marketing Coordinator
I had an initial chat, then met with a bunch of team members and the hiring manager. The questions were fine, pretty standard stuff. What really irked me was that they weren't upfront about wanting someone with experience in the exact same industry. The hiring manager said they were open to different backgrounds and could teach the specifics, but after all that time and effort, they hired someone who'd done it before. They should have been honest from the start and not wasted our time. Seriously, no matter what they tell you, they only want to train interns. Don't bother if you haven't worked in this exact industry before.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- How would you describe your communication style?
Senior QA Engineer
The process was as below 1. Assignment 2. F2F interview. The assignment was not difficult, it was easy to crack. The F2F interview was amazing. The interviewer was warm and let me settle down first. The interviewer asked me to start the process, which was another change in the interview process, very rare to see. The questions asked were very generic, not related to project. Most of the questions were new, interesting and challenging. No crappy questions were asked. Questions were based on technologies like Java, TestNg, Jira, Git, Maven, Appium, Selenium. Make sure you are clear with your basics of technologies. All the basic question were asked, with which time we tend to forget. Overall a good interview.
- Tell me about Mobile Testing using Appium Java.
- What is your experience with TestNG?
- Can you explain Maven?
