First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SQA Services.
Program Coordinator
It was pretty easy and I got the job in about 2 weeks. Pretty standard process, nothing out of the ordinary. They communicated well during the interview period, but once they made an offer, there wasn't much room to negotiate.
- What is your understanding of the Audit Compliance industry?
Quality Inspector
The booking process was professional and simple. It was pretty smooth dealing with the multiple interviews and getting to know the SQA team. I felt a sense of care from the company and they are looking to learn more about new opportunities.
- Can you break down your past experience and accomplishments in other roles?
- Tell me about who you are as a person.
Content Manager
Started with an HR phone call, though there's no actual HR department. Then there was a video call with some Content team members and the recruiter. After that, I had to complete an editing test. I was offered the job after passing the test. The recruiter seemed a bit unsure about the role, as I was initially told it was a copy editor, then a different title, and finally, my agreement stated Content Manager.
- When faced with heavy workloads, how do you cope?
- Can you describe your methods for time management when juggling multiple tasks?
Quality Manager
I had a recruiter call where they told me salary wasn't an issue, so I took time off work and drove 2 hours for the interview. I arrived early, but the hiring manager was late. He seemed distracted while looking at my resume for the first time. He asked about my experience and then about work-life balance, implying that leaving early regularly wasn't okay. He gave me an assignment to email why I want the job and why I'm the best candidate, then told me the pay was $15K less than I was making. The recruiter then asked the same questions from the phone call. I declined the offer via email that night. They kept my resume and continued to contact me for a year, even after I asked them to remove it, and their response was unprofessional. I would not recommend this company.
- Could you explain why you're the most suitable person for this role?
