The interview process kicks off with a 30-minute phone call. If that goes well, you'll get a writing assignment to do within 3 days. After about a week, you might have a 25-minute call with the hiring manager. If that's successful, another week later, you'll set up a two-part 2.5-hour interview. The first part is a STAR-based behavioral interview, so get ready for that if you're not used to it. The second part is a confusing practical exercise with unclear language and very little time to figure it out. They say it's not meant to trick you, but they expect answers to unasked questions without any explanation. The whole thing took over a month and a half!

The interview process was really fast and smooth. All the managers I met were super friendly and we just had conversations during the interviews. There were three interviews in total: First, an HR round. Second, a behavioral interview with the Client Delivery Manager. Third, a two-part interview which included a task that took about 1.5 hours, followed by a 1-hour behavioral session. The entire thing wrapped up in about two weeks.

So there were 3 one-on-one rounds, each one was a bit harder than the last. You'll mostly be talking to people around your age. They'll ask some standard behavioral questions like "tell me about a time you..." but a big part of it is seeing if you fit with the company. They asked me about my interests and things not on my resume. You really need to be interesting and charming, and also be able to talk about your past experiences and how they relate to solving problems. The interviews themselves were actually pretty good. If you do well, they'll invite you to a training session. Apparently, not everyone gets invited, even though they're pretty open to giving people with liberal arts degrees a shot. The only real bummer is that they only hold these trainings about once a month, and even after that, they don't always offer full-time jobs right away. It can take a while to get hired with benefits, and there are several points where you might not move to the next stage. That said, everyone I've met who's been hired and is still here seems to think it's a great company (good pay, awesome benefits, cool colleagues). It seems like people also leave on their own if they realize consulting isn't for them.
