First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SPS Corporation.
Customer Service Representative
We had face to face conversations where they put you in the driver's seat of what you would do in certain situations. The interviewer focused on giving you a feel for the job, letting you know what to expect and testing your understanding based on the situations.
- Regarding SPS's strong policy on tardiness and no-shows, how many no-shows do you think is acceptable before termination?
Software Engineer
The interview process involved an initial phone call, followed by a face-to-face meeting with the Team Leader, then an interview with the Project Manager, and finally an HR interview that covered salary discussions. The whole thing took about two weeks. I'd say the process was pretty standard, though there were quite a few interview rounds.
- What are your salary expectations?
Management Trainee
They gave a really tough logic test and a pretty standard psych test, but it was complicated. The interview process was really considerate of the interviewee's situation; if you couldn't make the scheduled HR time, they were happy to reschedule.
- Can you tell me about your organizational experience in college?
Call Handler
It was an easy interview, mostly standard call centre questions, and then a practice call. If you remember to ask for details and follow data protection rules, you should be good. Fingers crossed for you.
- What's your approach to dealing with a challenging customer over the phone?
