Coding Technical

The whole interview process was kind of a mess. I got contacted by like 3 recruiters, which was confusing. The last part was a coding exercise with two engineers. They didn't seem to have planned it out and gave me conflicting info, making me code something harder, then they wanted it simpler, so I had to redo it. This wasted time and I couldn't make my solution better.

Behavioral Technical

I applied online and heard back from a recruiter, Katie, within about a week. She was really nice and did a good job representing the company. I appreciated how thorough she was, which isn't always my experience with recruiter screens. I had to reschedule my chat with the Head of BizOps last minute, but Katie was super flexible and found a new time quickly without any fuss. The actual screen was okay, but I didn't feel a strong connection or like they were really trying to sell the role. I was fine either way about moving forward. I ended up getting rejected the next day with an automated email, which was a bummer after the good start. I think they should at least send a short personal note with some feedback.

Had a recruiter call, then a 30 minute interview. After that, there was a 20 minute call about a take home project. Then, a 1-hour session to review the project. Finally, a 20 minute chat with the VP. Got told the team enjoyed meeting me and wanted me on board, but they were prioritizing roles and would update me within 2 weeks. Never heard back, so it was a total waste of my time.

The interview was brilliant, although I didn't get the role. It was very well run with nice people and I got excellent feedback. It was a thorough process and gave me a good understanding of the role and what would be expected of me.
