First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sprouts.
Crew Member
It was pretty chill and informal, I got the interview scheduled through Indeed. They called me in the next day and it was only like 20 mins. I got a decent feel for the company, but the interviewer seemed distracted.
- What is your definition of customer service?
Associate
The interview process was disorganized. They scheduled four interviews simultaneously with just one manager. The manager seemed more interested in whether I had prior supermarket experience than my existing skills, information which could have been found on my resume.
- Did you have previous experience working in a supermarket?
Childcare Provider
The interview started late and the interviewer seemed disorganized, having to search for my application which was on old-fashioned paper. Management wasn't clear about which location I'd be working at. The interview took place in an office with lots of interruptions. I also took a tour of the facility, and the rooms looked outdated and not well kept.
- Tell me about your experience in childcare.
- What makes you want to work at this place?
- What availability do you have for the schedule?
Clerk
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I just walked into the store and spoke with a manager at the front. After a short wait, I was able to talk to the store manager right away. I'm not sure if this is usual, but with how many people are hiring right now, that's just how it went for me. I chatted with the store manager for about 15 minutes, then they passed my information to HR. I heard back from HR a few days later, and then I got the job.
- How would you handle a challenging customer?
