IT Auditor
A recruiter reached out and I decided to move forward with the application. I then proceeded to the first interview round and felt it went well. I also thought the interview process was alright.
- Were you CISA certified?
Customer Service Representative
I applied on Indeed and a recruiter reached out. We had a brief chat, and then I was set up for a phone interview with the hiring managers. They had to reschedule the day before, and then were 30 minutes late on the actual interview day. It felt like it went really well, and they seemed to think so too, but it's been over a month and I haven't heard anything back. They originally said they'd be making decisions within a couple of weeks. Super unprofessional. I even tried contacting the recruiter, but no luck.
- What's your strategy for handling angry customers?
Underwriter
I applied online. They sent me an assessment to do. Once I completed it, the recruiter called and said I did really well and wanted to interview me. I said yes and by the end of the conversation, she asked if I would interview with the underwriting manager (Dana). I agreed and got a call from her the very next day. At the end of our conversation, the underwriting manager said she really likes me and understands my thought process. She told me to expect a call from the recruiter in the next few days. The recruiter called me back less than an hour later and we talked about compensation. We went back and forth on some numbers. She said she was going to get an offer signed off by the VP and will give it to me within 2 days. I never heard from anyone after that. I followed up with an email from my personal account and an email through linkedIn. I called the recruiter after a couple days of not hearing back and her voicemail was locked because it was full. It has been 4 weeks since I was told to expect an offer.
- What is your comfort level with underwriting Non-QM loans?
Compliance Specialist
I got an email late Sunday night for an interview the very next day for a remote position, so it was over the phone. The recruiter was running late and asked by email to reschedule, which was 15 minutes after our original interview time. No big deal, things happen. We rescheduled for the next day. The second interview time passed, and still no call. I got another email at 10 pm to reschedule again. The third scheduled interview finally happened. After that, the recruiter set up an interview with a VP. She didn't call until an hour past our scheduled time, and she called my cell, not my home number as planned. At that point, I emailed the recruiter, thanked her for her time, and wished her good luck. I didn't want to work for a company that doesn't respect people's time. I was patient, but being stood up for 3 out of 4 interviews? I can only imagine how they treat their employees.
- Can you tell me about your general screening questions?
