First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Springs Charter Schools.
Speech Therapist
The interview was pretty straightforward and went smoothly. The questions they asked were prepared beforehand and were quite simple to answer. It was easy to chat with the interviewers, and they were very relaxed and approachable. I also appreciated that they started the interview on time. It didn't feel overly formal.
- Tell me about your experience working collaboratively with a team.
- What is your experience in treating patients with language disorders?
School Psychologist
It was pretty straightforward. They actually gave us the questions beforehand, so we knew what was coming. I thought that was helpful, made it feel less stressful.
- Can you describe your past experience and your background?
School Counselor
I had an interview at the Temecula location over Zoom. The interviewers didn't seem very engaged and said they were 'taking notes' but were actually looking at other screens and not writing anything. I felt like my time wasn't valued and they hurried through the questions.
- In what ways does your approach to counseling match our organization's mission and values?
Teacher
I had a quick online screening first. Then I did a written test where they asked math stuff and about helping students and their families. After that, I had a longer phone chat with more people from the school.
- Could you explain your understanding of personalized learning?
- Describe your approach to addressing an academic challenge with a student's family.
- How does your teaching philosophy fit with 'The Springs Way'?
