The interview process was quick, with 4 rounds happening over 1.5 weeks. Since it was during lockdown, all interviews were on video call. The first round was to get to know me and my experience. The second round was technical and scenario-based, like asking what I would do in a specific situation. The third round was with the Lead BA and the Head of BA community from the Netherlands, and it was brief. The fourth round, with the ECM department head, was the longest and seemed to be mainly about getting to know me as a person, my preferences, and how I'd handle certain situations, including questions about my free time. The HR then called to discuss salary and leave structure, and asked about other companies I was interviewing with for salary negotiation purposes. The next day, I received an email with the offer letter, which was slightly higher than expected, so I accepted.

Had a first stage interview, which was pretty much an informal chat with some competency questions. Even after chasing and some quiet periods, it took two weeks to hear back. Another candidate got through to the next stage right away. The recruiter also encouraged me to talk about my neurodiversity in the interview. I don't recommend doing this. All the talk about D&I and their awards seems like just lip service. The final insult was 'no specific feedback' on why my application wasn't moving forward. I know I might sound like a 'sore loser,' but the candidate experience matters. Having to explain basic courtesy to a recruiter/employer is a bad look for the company.

The interview process was really drawn out, with several interviews happening over a long period. What made it worse was that the interviewer cancelled on me a couple of times with very little notice. At that point, I didn't feel like a valued candidate and wasn't really interested in continuing.
