First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Springbot.
Customer Success Specialist
The interview process was super quick, which was awesome. I was interviewing with other Atlanta tech startups and was pretty far along with another company I really liked, but Springbot moved fast. They set up a phone interview, then right after, an in-person, and then a second in-person. Seriously, their speed, how open they were, and how flexible they were with scheduling was really impressive and a huge plus for someone actively looking for a new job! The whole thing wrapped up in under two weeks.
- Given the dynamic nature and constant changes in a startup, how adaptable are you to shifting priorities and tasks?
Sales Associate
Springbot's interview process gives you a great feel for the fun and people-focused vibe you'll be joining. You'll chat with actual Managers, Executive Team members, and even the CEO. Here's the interview breakdown: You might have a Phone Screen with the Sales Director, and possibly a Phone Screen with the Team Lead too. After that, you'll get an invite to meet us in person at the Springbot office. Then, you'll go through a series of 3-4 interviews with the Team Leads, followed by a Final Interview with either the CEO or CTO.
- How do you feel about making calls all day?
Sales
A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and set up an interview. I arrived, got a quick tour, and was then led to a conference room. The office felt cramped and was quite noisy with music and games, which seemed counterproductive for a cold-calling role. I met with four different men sequentially, and they all asked the exact same questions, making the two-hour interview feel lengthy. I was supposed to meet the CMO, but he was unavailable and asked me to reschedule, which felt like a waste of my time. I tried following up to reschedule, but received no response, even after a second attempt. At that point, I decided I wasn't interested in a cold-calling job anyway. The company didn't seem to value my time or my sales background, though the interviewers seemed to like me. It was also notable that there were no women in management positions, leading me to perceive it as a disorganized and potentially sexist startup.
- Tell me why you think you're a good fit for this role.
- What's your understanding of Shopify?
- What can you tell me about Springbot?
Sales Development Representative
Went into the startup office and the initial part of the interview went fine. Then they started playing really loud rap music. Towards the end, the sales manager kicked me out because I wasn't wearing a suit, even though I wasn't told to and didn't have one back then. This was in 2019, not sure if they still do things this way.
- What makes you want to be in sales?
