Started with a chat with the internal recruiter, Sean. Then, I met with the Sales Manager, Kat. Both were really friendly and spent time understanding my background, not just as a recruiter but also my previous agency work. They made it clear they wanted to improve my view of the industry and seemed to really care about teamwork, training, and a good work environment. I went back for a second meeting, this time with them and also the CEO, Gavin Hays. He was a bit more direct but still seemed easy to talk to and truthful. I really liked meeting everyone and getting different viewpoints.

The interview process started with a phone call, followed by interviews with the CEO and COO. The final round involved speaking with three Account Managers. I was really impressed with the interview process because I got to talk to front-line employees, which is unusual. Everyone asked great questions and was happy to answer mine, giving both sides a chance to see if it was a good fit. I really liked that this gave me so much insight, which I don't often get. Another good thing was that the interviews were never rushed; they lasted 2-4 hours, which gave everyone enough time to ask questions and get to know each other. Plus, you can't fake who you are for that long. I left knowing exactly what the company is like and who I'd be working with.

I got a call for a preliminary interview. After that, I came in for a 1.5-hour interview, and on the same day, I had a second interview with the CEO that lasted about the same amount of time. They then had me come in and sit in for a bit over an hour to ensure it was a good fit. It looked like I got the job and I had a good connection with the staff, but then I was given the run around, asked to follow up multiple times, and then never heard back.

Behavioral Technical

The recruitment team seemed unsure about their hiring needs. I experienced 10 interview rounds, which was surprising for a startup. They appeared indecisive about the role's requirements. Initially, there were three phone interviews and a form to complete. Despite these, they couldn't decide on hiring me. Subsequently, I attended a face-to-face interview, expecting only three rounds, but ended up having seven more. It was a lengthy day, from 9:30 AM to 4 PM, with continuous interviews where similar questions were asked. Even after all ten rounds, a hiring decision wasn't made, which I don't believe was due to my performance, as they wouldn't have proceeded to the in-person stage otherwise.
