The communication was really bad. I first had a screening with the hiring manager. A week later, I got an email saying I passed and would meet the HM next. I set up the interview with the HM for 4 business days later. On the same day I got the 'passed' email, I got another email, clearly meant for someone else, saying that they (or me, if it was a typo??) were no longer being considered because the role was filled. That email also mentioned a different job title than the one I applied for. I replied to ask for clarification (was it about me, or someone else??). I never got a response. When it was time for my interview with the HM (still no word on the other email), I logged in and the HM never showed up. I emailed the recruiter and coordinator twice asking for help and bringing up the confusing email. I never got any reply to any of my emails. This really shows how they operate and is a super rude way to treat candidates, especially ironic since they're trying to make mental health more accessible.

I applied via referral and the recruiter reached out fast. It was a bit unclear about the exact team and products they were considering me for, and they kept mentioning various opportunities to keep me engaged. I ended up interviewing with two different hiring managers for separate teams, and both went well. Then, I met with the CPO, developers, a designer, and possibly a program manager. This required significant juggling with my current work. One interview was a bit jarring as I was frequently interrupted while answering, even though it was scheduled late to accommodate them. Ultimately, I didn't receive an offer. The hiring manager was gracious and noted my strong background, but I suspect they had another candidate in mind from the start.

5 rounds total. First, a recruiter screening. Then, 4 one-on-one meetings with the team. The interviews will cover technical and behavioral aspects. It's important to impress the Hiring Manager's Manager. The pace is slower than other companies. Remote work is an option.
