First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Spring EQ.
Director of Brand and Communications
The recruiter interviewing me was very open, transparent, and human. Ultimately decided not to move forward due to a difference in salary, but appreciated the interviewer's approach, which was very friendly and not intimidating.
- Could you tell me your story?
- What are your salary requirements?
Mortgage Closer
After you submit your application, you'll first chat with a recruiter. If they think you're a good match for the job, they'll set up a video call with the hiring managers for the team you're applying to.
- What makes you a suitable candidate for this position?
- Could you explain your qualifications for this role?

Started with a recruiter call for basic background, then a screen with the hiring manager. The whole process felt really poor and like a waste of time. I was completely ghosted for weeks with no updates, then randomly sent psychology/etc assessments to complete, which took an hour, and still no feedback even after I reached out. They then apparently reposted the role as a Marketing Director, shifting focus internally. During my interview, the role was described as 70% hands-on technical and 30% management/interfacing, but this seems to have changed. It's not really a technical role, and the tech stack described was pretty basic. The hiring manager's main question was basically 'tell me why you are the best man for the job' after a standard intro, which I didn't find very helpful.

I got an email for an interview with different time slots. I picked one. Then I got an email saying I was not considered anymore. I sent an email with no reply. Nobody called me on the day of the interview. I sent an email again asking about the future of my interview. This time they replied asking if I can do the interview via microsoft teams. I replied saying yes. And nothing happened , no time schedule, no reply. Did not contact them again. Not interested in working at such an unprofessional company.
