Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

I found the job on Glassdoor and a recruiter contacted me within days. We had a preliminary call where they asked some basic questions and told me about the company. Following that, I went to their office for an on-site interview. This included a chat with the practice director, who explained his area and its future plans in a very conversational way. Then, I met with four engineers and architects. We discussed my past experience, some technical topics, and did a whiteboarding exercise. After the on-site, I was given a coding challenge to complete. I received an offer the same day I submitted the coding exercise.

Coding Technical Behavioral

I applied for a junior dev job at SPR in Oct 2016. About a week later, I got a coding challenge. I sent it back after a few days, and they called me in for a 2.5 hour interview the following week. It seemed to go well, because the next day, they called to talk salary and if I had other offers. The recruiter said they were ready to offer me the job! I followed up, but they got back to me a week later, saying they needed another week. Finally, I found out they went with someone else. Terrible ethics, so disappointing! Never applying there again.

Behavioral Technical Other

I applied online and a junior recruiter reached out. It wasn't a great experience, she didn't ask relevant questions and was late for the call. I emailed her twice to follow up, and two weeks later she passed my info to a senior recruiter. I had another call with the senior recruiter, which felt like a more standard HR screening (not sure why the first one was needed). I needed to email her one more time to get a call with the hiring manager. This call was with the VP, which made me a bit nervous, but it was really conversational. He asked good, relevant questions. They set up an in-person interview for the same week. I met two project team members I'd be working with. It was a casual chat with both. The PM seemed to be assessing personality fit, and the tech lead made sure I had the right skills. I also met the senior recruiter again, who was really friendly. She was super helpful in speeding things up because she knew I had other interviews, and she kept me updated.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview process included 4 phone screens with a recruiter, a Director of Practice, an Engagement Manager, and the VP of PMO. Following this, there was one on-site interview with 4 interviewers, two of whom I had spoken with previously over the phone. This on-site involved a review of my work product and a situational interview where I was asked how I would handle specific scenarios given limited information.
