First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
Unit Secretary
I got a call saying they wanted to interview me, I went in the next week met the unit manager and had a conversation about goals. Then that next week I had a job offer.
- Describe a situation where you encountered a workplace problem and how you resolved it.
Medical Imaging Specialist
The initial step was a recruiter call where they provided some basic info about the interview to help get you ready. Then, the interview process involved employees from different imaging departments. It started as a group interview, and afterwards, you met with the manager.
- What motivates you to work at this company?
- Can you describe your relevant experience?
- Share an instance where you faced a challenging situation.
Physical Therapist
The interview was super casual. I didn't feel like they were really considering me, even though their application said they'd consider new grads with clinical experience. The interviewer seemed bored and even looked up Indeed during our chat, suggesting other places I could apply, which was weird since I'm on there daily and have applied to tons of jobs. It felt like a waste of my time, especially with the long drive. It was a bummer because I liked the facility a lot and was hoping to work there.
- Can you describe your clinical experience?
Registered Nurse
The hiring process dragged on, and the recruiter was nearly unreachable. I had an in-person interview scheduled with the hiring manager, but she was distracted by her computer, phone, and headset while two other nurses conducted the interview. There were no formal introductions, and it felt like they didn't respect me as a candidate. The experience left a really bad impression.
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
- What makes you the best candidate for this position?
