Carrier Account Coordinator
The interview process was really well organized and professional. They communicated clearly at every step and the interviewer explained the role and what they expected in detail. I got to talk about my experience and ask questions. It was a good and simple experience overall.
- Can you share your past experience and how it aligns with the duties of this role?
- How do you manage your organizational tasks?
- What's your approach to meeting deadlines?
Account Manager
I was invited by a Spot INC recruiter on LinkedIn for a Carrier Account Manager role in Chicago. We had an initial phone screening that went well, and then I scheduled an in-person interview at their downtown office for the next Monday. I felt good about how the interview went and was told I'd hear back by Friday. I sent a thank-you email the next day with details about my customer relationships and potential leads. Friday came and went with no word. Ten days later, the following Thursday, I followed up on my application status, but got no response. This lack of communication was disappointing and made me question the company's commitment. I had researched the company and role, prepared well, and was professional throughout. I believe a response about my application status is basic courtesy. Because of the lack of communication, I'm withdrawing my application. --- Update --- An hour after I withdrew, I got a generic rejection email saying they weren't moving forward with my candidacy. It felt like a jab, especially since I withdrew due to their lack of response. It suggests they saw my previous message and ignored it. Doesn't seem like a good place to work. I'm not going to apply here.
- Tell me about a mistake you made and how you resolved it.
Corporate Recruiter
The whole recruitment process was incredibly slow and ultimately really disappointing, with no clear outcome. After the first in-person interview, it took 6 weeks to get any initial feedback. When I followed up for the second time, they told me I was a 'top contender' and that I'd hear back that same day. It's now been two months since my first interview (three interviews in total), and I still haven't received any feedback on my status in the process. This is pretty misleading for a company that's aiming to build its reputation nationally as a 'top' brokerage firm, especially in places like Indianapolis and Charlotte.

Carrier Sales Representative
The hiring journey began with a phone chat with the HR manager, which was pretty typical. A week later, an onsite interview was scheduled with the HR manager and the VP of Human Capital. This was also a pretty standard interview. Another week passed, and I was invited for an onsite job shadow. This involved working alongside an existing employee for about an hour, followed by another discussion with the department manager. This part was more of an open conversation compared to a formal interview. About a week after that, I received a call with an offer. The people were great, and it was an enjoyable experience overall. The office space was nice too.
- Can you tell me about a time you experienced something similar?
- Do you have concrete examples to support your experiences?
