I applied online and they were pretty fast getting back to me. I had to complete a questionnaire, and then had a phone interview a few days later. After that, they told me to make a video in 5 days about recruiting tips. Since everything went well so far, they finally asked me to come in for an in-person interview and do a demo showcasing their product to them. After I finished, they said they'd let me know in two days. They emailed me two days later saying things were hectic and they'd let me know next week. I followed up via email the following week after not hearing from them and didn't get a response.

First, you submit your online application with your resume and answers to some personality questions. Then, you have an introduction phone call with a supervisor who will tell you more about the company's functions and culture. After that, there's a quiz where you need to send back answers on the products SportsRecruits sells. This part requires you to research the company on their website and blog. Lastly, you'll do a demo, speaking with a couple of supervisors to explain your understanding of their products. You'll need to pitch their products while navigating their platform.

Technical Case Group

I found the job on AngelList and got a call from the CEO pretty quickly. Then they gave me a project to figure out how much money the company could make in the next few years. I had to research the business and all the ways they could earn money. After I sent that in, I went to the office for an in-person interview with the CEO. The next week, I came back to meet more of the team. Finally, I had one last round where I did an operational project with someone from the SportsRecruits team. It felt like I showed I could analyze things, think strategically, and work with others. I was really impressed by how detailed and thought-out the whole interview process was, and it made me want to work at SportsRecruits even more. They told me how long the hiring would take and they were respectful of my time.

So after a first phone call, they had me do a project to create a piece of content that shows what SportsRecruits is about. After I sent it over, they got back to me a few days later saying they had other candidates who were further along, so I didn't make the cut. It makes you wonder why they'd interview me and ask for my content if they already had other people moving forward. I'm starting to think they might not actually be hiring for this role and are just trying to get free, new ideas.
