Scout
Had a technical interview where we were tested on football packages and formations. Then, I had two interviews back-to-back with team members. It was really helpful because they did a great job explaining the role and its commitments.
- What makes you want to work in sports?
Football Video Scout
The whole process took a while and went through several rounds, lasting over a month from application to the final email. The interviews were unique and fun, and the people I spoke with were knowledgeable. Although I didn't receive an offer, I had a great experience overall, except for the waiting time. I even had a good follow-up email conversation with one of the interviewers.
- Which prospect from this year's draft do you believe will perform well, and what's your reasoning?
Data Scientist
I was sent a link for a personality test and a cognitive test that I had to complete within 3 days. After that, I waited 4 weeks and never heard anything back about my application status. I didn't talk to anyone and my emails asking for an update went unanswered. I eventually asked them to withdraw my application because they were disrespectful of my time.
- Take a personality profile test.
- Complete a cognitive aptitude test.
Video Scout
The whole thing took a few weeks. First, I had to do a test covering different parts of baseball like pitch types and scoring. Then, I had an interview that was pretty laid-back. After that, I took a general aptitude test. Even though there were a bunch of steps, it was actually a pretty easy process overall.
- Which baseball team is your favorite?
- Tell me about your favorite players.
- Who do you consider your favorite prospects?
