The hiring process took about two months to get an offer, but the timeline isn't that long now. It included a phone screen, another phone interview, a tour, and an additional interview.

The interview process was simple and clean. I had a phone interview with the Recruiter, then a phone interview with the Director, and finally a panel interview with the Executive Team. The Recruiter was good at communicating the next steps and was very open when I asked questions.

The interview focuses on your ability to monitor risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious DNS according to organizational needs. You should have experience with the TCP/IP protocol. We'll discuss how you investigate and analyze events using Endpoint Detection and Response tools, and the actions you take. Also, your experience monitoring Manage Engine for requests and tickets is important, as is your ability to provide incident response and management. We'll also touch on managing SOC operations, covering incident detection, tracking, analysis, and reporting.

HR called and asked some basic questions to see if I was a good fit for a real interview. Then, the main interview was with the Controller/supervisor. They asked questions from a worksheet. Someone else from the finance team also came and picked questions from that same sheet. The next step was an interview with HR and another team member where the questions were more about my processes and how they would fit with their company values.
