It was a whole bunch of meetings all at once on-site, all crammed into one day. Most of them were about coding and technical stuff related to how we test things. We had to write our solutions on a whiteboard. Then, I talked to managers and tech leads about my past project experience and why I wanted to work at Splunk.

After being contacted by a recruiter via employee referral, I had a phone interview scheduled. The interview was really nice, and I finished the programming part very well using Java. The interviewer and I also had a good conversation. I sent a thank you email to the recruiter and expressed interest in the position. However, it's been over 15 days with no updates from the recruiter. I've followed up twice. This lack of updates or feedback after the interview process is very disappointing. I would have preferred a rejection over no communication at all. Therefore, I'm discouraging anyone from interviewing at this company if they don't seem to care about candidates.

I applied online and then got an invite for a video screen a few days later. I finished the 45-minute video screen on CoderPad. After a couple of weeks, they invited me to an on-site interview. They kept moving the on-site interview date. At one point, they got me a plane ticket and then cancelled it after 23 hours. Finally, we locked in a date with 6 back-to-back interviews. The lunch interviewer was nice, but it was a bit weird because he'd already eaten lunch earlier. So, it was 40 minutes of me eating while he sat there and chatted with me. Then, he asked me a whiteboard coding question during the last 20 minutes of my lunch hour. The interview with the hiring manager was awful. She was on her phone the entire time and didn't seem interested at all. She quickly gave me the coding question and then went back to her phone. I had to cough loudly to get her attention. It took them over 6 weeks to send a rejection email.

Confirmed questions2 questions

  • Do you have experience with Leetcode-style coding problems?
