Software Engineer
First round was with the recruiter, Daniel, and we had a good chat about Clojure. After that, I moved on to a practical exercise which was challenging but engaging. Although I didn't receive an offer or advance to the final stage, I really enjoyed speaking with Daniel and gained a solid understanding of the company and the position. I'm hoping to reapply next year.

- Can you describe your technical background?
Cloud Database Engineer
Applied on LinkedIn in May 2022, HR reached out about a week after I submitted my application. Had a 45-minute chat with the Hiring Manager, followed by a 4-hour technical interview session. HR then let me know I was selected and an offer letter was coming. However, I never received communication or an offer. Later, I found out through online sources they were doing major layoffs, which makes sense. Companies have tough times, but it would've been nice to get a heads-up that no offer would be extended due to market instability and to consider me in the future.

Director of Credit Implementation
It was an average interview process. I started with a recruiter screening, then had two one-hour calls with the hiring manager. After that, I was invited back for four one-hour interviews, all back-to-back. I had to take PTO for this. I never heard back from them via phone or email. A week later, I got an automated email saying I wasn't being considered anymore. If you're going to require over 6 hours of interviews, you really should follow up personally by phone or email. Clearly, not a good culture there.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a challenging task?
Senior Product Manager
It was like a typical Amazon behavioral interview. First, a recruiter call, then I talked to the hiring manager. After that, I had an interview loop. The recruiter was super helpful with scheduling and things moved fast. I had a 45-minute chat with the hiring manager a couple days later, and they were really open with info. A few days after that, I was set up for an onsite loop with engineers, two PMs, a UI/UX designer, and another chat with the hiring manager. I expected some kind of update after the loop, so I emailed the recruiter two weeks later, but never heard back. It was the first time I've been ghosted, and it felt really disrespectful given the time I put in, especially after a long interview loop. I feel like they should at least send an automated rejection email. Super disrespectful.
- Can you share an experience where you had a disagreement with a colleague?
- Describe a product you developed from its inception.
