I applied for a remote fall internship and was ghosted after the second round. They never got back to me. The interview process wasn't too difficult, and the questions were pretty standard. I think there was about a week between the interviews.

The interview experience was quite thorough yet still pleasant. I was kept informed throughout the entire process and had the chance to talk with several different people from the company. Everyone I interacted with was nice, responsive, and professional. From my perspective on both sides of hiring, Spitfire's rigorous process and the apparent thought and care they put into hiring new people was very impressive. (Note: The interview questions and writing tests were definitely not easy, so make sure you come prepared and do your research. I marked the difficulty as 'easy' only because the process itself was made as painless as possible, which was appreciated.)

It was a 4-round process. Started with a phone interview with one person. Then an in-person interview with 4-5 people, but they were late or left early. There was also a timed ghostwriting assignment. The final round was an interview with more executives. During the in-person interviews, they were vague about who would manage me and my exact duties. The vibe was cold, and I felt they didn't care much about me being there. I got to the last round but didn't get an offer.

We started with an informal chat with someone on the leadership team at Spitfire Strategies. After that, I sent in my formal application. Then, I went through an interview with a panel composed of directors, VPs, and senior VPs. Finally, I got an email with a skills assessment prompt.
