First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Spirol International Corporation.
Accountant
It wasn't too tough. They had 2 rounds. The first was simple, but the second was challenging with 2 interviewers. They asked a bunch of questions, including some about Excel.
- Asked multiple questions and even Excel related also.
Intern
The interview process was good and quick, a friendly and conversational experience. They extended a job offer soon after. We discussed the company's operations, its industry, and what we produce, among other company-related topics.
- Tell me about your experience in the production sector.
Manager
The interview process was really long, with a lot of time between steps and no communication. There was a lot of testing involved. I think it would be better if they reviewed the test scores with you. The company really emphasizes testing and personality profiles, but they don't give you a copy of the results. The company itself presents very well with beautiful offices and landscaping. Overall, the process takes too long and is a bit intimidating.
- Were you interested in returning to school and why had you not done so?
Human Resources
I was available for 5 interviews over 3 weeks, some by phone and some in person. They often requested meetings last minute or rescheduled, but I always tried to be flexible. I was told they were very interested and checking my references, but after I tried multiple times to follow up, I never heard back. They never actually contacted my references. Communication just stopped.
- How would you handle specific scenarios?
