Applied, got a call from HR, then scheduled a code round for screening. It was an easy-medium leetcode problem mostly around data cleaning and querying. Got to the second round, the managerial round. He was impressed with the code and did tell they haven't seen spectacular better problem solving skills in ages. After this round, ghosting began. I reached out to the recruiter on LinkedIn, no response. It's been 3 weeks and no update on application. Time waster and zero professionalism after the fact, interview went fine.

Behavioral Technical

It was a pretty standard engineering interview. Started with a quick chat with HR, then a video call with the hiring manager. After that, I had three separate calls with different team members. Since the team is spread out globally, coordinating times was a bit tricky due to the time zone differences, more so than with companies just in the US.

Behavioral Technical Case

First, there was an initial screening. Then, I interviewed with the Hiring Manager. After that, I had interviews with three of my potential peers. This was followed by a technical interview that involved a design scenario. Finally, I had a screening with the Senior VP of Engineering and Technology. They were really good about responding quickly, usually getting back to me the same day or within a couple of days.

Behavioral Technical

There were too many rounds, 5 in total, and each lasted about an hour with just one interviewer. The first round was with an internal recruiter, the second with the hiring manager, and the last three were with team members from different departments. This setup seems weak because it's prone to bias as none of the sessions were recorded and there wasn't a second opinion. Having two interviewers in each session could speed things up and possibly reduce it to 3 rounds instead of 5.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you describe a significant challenge you encountered and detail how you successfully navigated it?
