Quality Engineer
I went through a phone interview for a QE job, it was about an hour and seemed to go well. They mentioned I'd be called in for a formal interview after, but they never did. I'm okay with it though, because I wasn't happy in my last role and would have taken an offer. I've seen reviews saying they can't keep people there long, so I figure they're going downhill fast, which is interesting to track.

Mechanical Design Engineer
After sending in my resume and a quick cover letter, I heard back the next day to do a video interview. They asked me some questions, one of which was surprisingly about other uses for a brick besides building. About two days later, I got a call from a manager. This call was about 20 minutes, and by the end, I was invited for an in-person interview the following week. The in-person interview was intense. I was there for three hours and met a bunch of people from the office. To wrap it up, I had to do a SolidWorks test. The task was open-ended: identify something you'd like to improve, list the pros and cons in a Word doc, and then use SolidWorks to showcase your design. They mentioned they'd save my Word doc and SolidWorks file after I left, so saving frequently was key. I got an email a week later to come back for another interview. This time, I met the other half of the office in person. This interview also lasted about three hours and went really well; I got to chat with several employees again. Before I left, they offered me the job verbally. Unfortunately, due to budget constraints, they couldn't hire another mechanical design engineer, so I never got a formal offer.
- What are alternative uses for a brick, besides its standard use in building construction?
- Think of something you wish could be improved, outline the advantages and disadvantages in a Word document, and then use SolidWorks to illustrate your design idea.
Document Control Associate
Applied through Indeed and got contacted the next day. The first phone screen went okay, though the manager was a bit late. Got a call the same day to set up the main interview for the following Monday. It was a three-hour ordeal with six people, including the manager. It was in a small conference room, which wasn't ideal – a bigger room for a panel would have been better because I had to answer the same questions multiple times. The vibe in the facility felt negative due to the questions and how confrontational they were. They asked a lot about whether I could refuse requests.
- The group you would be working with is contentious and competitive.
- Do you have the ability to say no to people?
Supply Chain Manager
I interviewed for the Supply Chain Manager position in mid January of this year. About ten minutes into the interview, I realized that there was some type of oddness. The people that interviewed me seemed like they had something to hide, really couldn't put a finger on it.
- Do you have children?
