First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Spicejet.
Cabin Crew
So first, we had this group discussion, and they checked our documents. Then came the height and reach test, followed by a check of how we looked and how well we could speak English. If you passed that, you went into a personal interview where they asked about your customer service skills, your attitude, and if you could work different shifts.
- What makes you want to be a cabin crew member, and how would you deal with a challenging passenger on a flight?
Software Engineer
The interview was pretty chill, not too hard, with two parts. First, there was a coding challenge that involved dnf sort and a linked list problem. After that, an HR interview with general questions. That was pretty much the whole thing.
- Asked about DNF sort and linked list questions.
- General questions during the HR round.
Accounts Assistant
It was horrible. Not organized at all. I waited 2 hours for the first round even when I reached there early by 15 minutes. I sat down in the lounge area where no one came to approach me. For the second round they asked me to wait in other building which took another hour and a half. Then I realized they did not even ask the interviewers of my presence. After the interview they did not send an email or contact me whether I was sleeted for the role.
- Could you tell me about your educational background?
- What are your salary expectations for an entry-level position?
- Can you explain the nature of an expense?
Customer Service Representative
The interview experience was good. I've spent a lot of time thinking about my future, and I've always gravitated towards sales. I believe my strengths truly come out when I'm focused on making a sale. I become enthusiastic, let my personality show, and connect easily with potential customers. I enjoy discovering how I can meet their needs and what will convince them to buy what I'm offering. Whether it's suggesting a unique menu item or an upsell, I relish the challenge. While I may be new to professional sales, my extensive experience in the restaurant industry, where I consistently topped sales charts, has shown me that financial incentives are a great motivator for me. I'm naturally competitive and driven, qualities I think are essential for a successful sales career.
- Could you tell me about yourself and your journey towards a sales career?
- How do you see your personality and skills contributing to success in sales?
- Can you share your experience in sales and what drives you?
