SEO Account Manager
I had a good one-hour video call where they asked me about my background and also shared details about the job and the company. It felt like a good learning experience and I was able to show off my skills.
- How would you describe yourself professionally in three words?
Mobile App Developer
They had me do a 30 minute pre-screen assessment that covered JavaScript, CSS, and SQL. I didn't do very well on it, but that was mostly me because I was out of practice. They were nice and didn't ghost me after the test. They even sent me a gift card for making the attempt lol. I put easy difficulty because after studying a bit after the test I ran into a lot of what they were testing me on.

Web Applications Developer
I applied online and then they set up an interview for me on campus, but then they changed it to a phone interview. I sent a follow up email a few days later and got a super rude and passive aggressive response, which was really unprofessional. Makes me wonder how they treat their employees if this is how they treat applicants.
- Can you discuss your school coursework and curriculum?
Full Stack Software Engineer
There were a couple screening tests with some programming. The actual interview was remote and wasn't super difficult. It was more about getting to know you. They also seem to want to know what you like to do and if you are going to stick around.
- What would another company have to do to make you leave Spherexx?
