Sales Trainee
Lots of emails and then a phone interview. I'm not sure if this is the right fit because after being in the field for a few years, I'm not sure I want to be considered a "trainee" anymore.
- Could you describe your career aspirations for the next 1-2 years?
- And what about your career goals for the next 5+ years?
- What makes you want to pursue a career in sales?
Business Development
I got a call to talk about the Business Development role. The person I spoke with, Anthony, was really professional and knew a lot about the industry and the job. The company culture seemed great and they seem focused on finding the right match for everyone. It turned out not to be the perfect fit for me right now, but I'm glad I was considered.
- What made you interested in this role?
Business Development Manager
I applied for a position but didn’t have the experience for it, so the VP asked me if I would be interested in a Business Development Manager role. I was intrigued that the VP was still willing to consider me for another role, as some companies will just move on at that point. We had two phone conversations, and he was very down to earth. He seems like he’d be a great boss!
- What questions do you have for me?
- What do you like about staffing?
Piping Engineer
I had an initial screening call with the recruiter from Spero. After that, I spoke with the employer, and they wanted to go into more detail about my past work experience and how it lined up with the requirements for this role.
- Can you describe the specific tasks and responsibilities you were accountable for at X company?
