The interview process was quick and unprofessional, almost too easy. I felt like I had the job. I connected well with the hiring Executive Director, who said she would email me a salary offer that same week.

I applied online and got a text pretty quickly, like within 48 hours, for a Zoom interview. It went really well, and I even asked what they were looking for and they said they liked my sales background and empathy. They told me what the next steps would be and that I'd hear back by the end of the week. I felt pretty good about it. But then it was like, over two weeks later, and I had to text the recruiter myself to get a generic email saying they went another direction, even though my application was impressive.

Ghosting by companies has become a thing lately and this company completely ghosted me. The recruiter that I was talking to scheduled an interview with the VP and asked that I follow up with her. I followed up with her with a phone call and received her voicemail and left a message and with an email. I heard nothing back. I followed up with two other emails to her and the VP and I heard absolutely nothing back. Extremely unprofessional and if this is the way they treat their candidates during the interview process, I can only imagine how they are treated as employees. Luckily I received an offer from another company and dodged this bullet.

First interview was a phone call with the Executive Director where she asked me questions. The second interview was a phone call with someone from Regional, who answered my questions and also asked me some regional-specific questions. The third interview involved meeting with a panel of directors. Each director asked me questions related to their department's needs and how I would manage those situations. They took turns asking. Afterwards, I got to ask my own questions.
