Marketing
The process overall wasn't bad, but it was VERY long. There was at least 5 interviews, and there would have been at least one additional. The questions were fairly straightforward, and the interviewers made me relaxed throughout the process.
- Could you describe your marketing experience?
Sterile Processing Manager
The first interview was good. The second one was really bad though. The interviewer was late and seemed annoyed to have to interview me. She was distant, sounded like she was reading from notes, and didn't seem to listen. After that, I got a call from recruitment to check in. I gave my honest feedback and asked if I'd be considered for other roles if this one didn't work out. They said yes, that there were positions everywhere and I was a good fit. A week passed with no news, then another. I finally emailed recruitment and was told they were focused on a new site in New Orleans and other positions were on hold. Now I see those same positions listed, some with sign-on bonuses. Guess they aren't on hold anymore.
- What is your experience in sterile processing?
Perfusionist
They will hire you as long as you can breathe. Sounds good until you realize you are just another number in a very corrupt machine, and that is how you will be treated. Recruiters will sit by idly before letting you know how the hiring process is going. Interview is standard interview fare, but when you ask questions they will respond with a long-winded answer that may or may not answer your question, and by the time they are finished you'll have forgotten what you asked them in the first place.
- Regarding your college years, could you tell me about any research you conducted?
Surgical Neurophysiologist
The interview process was smooth, starting with a phone call to the regional manager and ending with a panel interview. However, after the interview, the follow-up phone call I was promised never happened. I waited all day and even sent messages reminding them, and they promised to call again. In the end, they just left me in silence. Luckily, this experience showed me that this organization is unprofessional and doesn't value people's time.
