The interview process was pretty straightforward. Started with a phone screen, then I met with the head of the department. After that, I had interviews with another department head and then the team. Everything was virtual, conducted over the phone or Teams.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I interviewed for the Project Manager - IT role at Specialty Dental Brands. It was a good experience overall, though there are some things that could be better for the company and other candidates. The recruiting team was friendly and helpful, and the recruiter answered my questions and was nice. But, communication wasn't always clear, and I didn't have much info about the timeline or what was next, which made it hard to stay interested during the long process. Talking with the hiring manager and others showed a collaborative and respectful workplace where they value openness and growth. Everyone on the team seemed happy with their leader and the company. The interviews were detailed, and they explained the job, what they expected, and the company's goals. What could be improved is communication and updates; the whole process took a long time, and more regular updates or a set schedule would help manage expectations. It would also be good to get an overview of the whole interview process upfront for better planning. More feedback at each stage would be great so candidates know where they stand. I took another offer because of the timing, but I learned a lot about Specialty Dental Brands and met good people. With changes to the timeline and feedback, their interview process could be even better for candidates.

It was a quick video interview with the team lead and another team member. Then there was a second conversation with the Head of the department just to get to know me and see if I had any questions.
