First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Spartan School of Aeronautics.
Recruiter
There were 4 interviews in total, but they all felt like a waste of time because they asked the same questions over and over. It wasn't a great experience, especially considering the pay wasn't that great. I'd probably look for other opportunities.
- Do you have prior recruiting experience?
A&P Mechanic
I went through the usual HR interview, then I met with the maintenance director. It was a paid interview, and he showed me around and explained the shops responsibilities for the college.
- Do you have any questions for us?
Admin Representative
By the time a person gets to the final interview, if everything has been going well, you've probably put all your energy into it. It was around the 6th or 7th interview, and then I had to wait 3-4 days just to find out that the last month and a half was completely wasted. They didn't even bother to give any feedback.
- Tell me about how you would react in certain situations.
- How do you feel about specific scenarios?
Dean
The interview process involved submitting a written essay, around 12 to 15 pages long, followed by three panel interviews. These panels included members from different sites within similar roles, as well as the CEO and President.
- Why are you a suitable candidate for this position?
