The interview process included a HackerRank test, followed by a technical interview focusing on Java and Spring, and then a managerial round. Subsequently, there was a call with the India director. This entire process felt like a waste of time. Despite communicating my salary expectations early on and sharing my current offer letter, the final offer was less than what I was already holding. The recruitment agency, Recruise, used some underhanded tactics.

A recruiter from a third party reached out to me and set up a phone interview. The next day, I came in for a face-to-face interview, which surprisingly felt easier than the phone screen. I had four interviews back-to-back. First, I met with the manager who talked about the role and asked some basic Java and SQL questions. Then, I spoke with a Senior Java Developer who asked me some fairly simple Java and Backbone questions. My third interview was with the same person who conducted the phone screen; she indicated I likely had the job and then we went for coffee, during which she asked if I had kids. The final interview was interesting; the developer was facing a CSS issue, so we worked together to debug some live code. The day after that, I spoke with the VP of Engineering and received an offer.

Had a quick 20 minute phone call first. Then I was invited for an on-site interview. It included a 45 minute chat with the recruiting head, an hour to complete an easy coding problem, and then two 30 minute interviews with directors. Everyone was super nice and seemed genuinely happy to answer any questions. They really seem to love their jobs and trust the interview process, operating in a truly agile way.
