After applying and waiting for a while, I finally got an interview. Then I had two more interviews with the CM and RM. After being selected, the rest of the process was simple: a background check, an assessment, and providing three references.

Behavioral

Still in the very first stage of the interviewing process, but felt compelled to leave a review as I was truly impressed with the velocity, culture, and process thus far. The interview itself made you feel very comfortable and was more of a conversation not the typical cliche questions. Those were askew but in a very organic way! The transparency of this role, company, and the next steps is very valuable this early on yet not one your normally see with in the real estate space. The corporate website itself is AMAZING, and showcases their true culture, servant leadership, which also reflects on their social media and here on GlassDoor! Hard to find a “home” within this realm that sticks to their core values. When shopping a property of theirs they also exemplified Sparrows Foundation of People First and Culture!! Note: have about 6 more interviews to go and there isn’t an option from the drop down menu that says pending further interviews so I selected NO.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • What do I look for in a leader, and how do I lead others.
  • Explain my background in the apartments industry.

First, there was a video call with HR, which felt like a screening. Then, a video interview with the VP of asset management to check qualifications and company fit. Finally, a final round interview.
