Marketing Copywriter
This was one of the best interviews I've had. It felt thoughtful, deliberate, and thorough. Both interviewers seemed to have really looked through my info and portfolio. I was impressed by the quality of their questions about my process. Even though I didn't get the job, I really respected how they ran their interviews.
- Could you walk me through your typical writing process?
Account Executive
The interview process was straightforward thanks to HR and the hiring manager. They communicated and followed up effectively, clearly explaining the company and the role. The offer and onboarding were also handled well.
- Can you share your experience and what draws you to our company?
Marketing Coordinator
The hiring manager chatted with me one on one. First, they gave me more info about the company and the job. Then, we covered the basics, starting with 'tell me a bit about yourself.' After that, they dove into my resume, asking about my past roles and how they related to this job. The interview wrapped up with them mentioning they were still talking to other people and suggested I check back in about a week. I followed up but haven't heard back yet.
- Tell me about yourself.
Copywriter
It was a two part interview process. First on the phone and then in person. Make sure you're prepared and have done some research on the company. Spark451 is a big name in marketing, especially with higher ed clients in the New York Metro area. So, if you're a recent grad, that's a plus. Overall, it was a really friendly interview process.
