Analyst
The recruiter reached out and I interviewed with 2 managers and an AD. It all went really well, and I thought I had it in the bag, but the AD told me directly before the recruiter did that they decided to go with someone else. He did say he'd recommend me to HR for other jobs though. Super weird to not get it since all the interviews were great.

Programme Analyst
I got a phone interview from an employee referral. The recruiter was really sweet (she was in Chicago) and after a 30 minute interview she asked me about my availability to come into Manhattan for an in person interview. I came in 2-3 days later. It was set up as three 30 minute interviewers. The first interviewer was SO sweet and had an amazing personality; I could tell she was happy and excited about her job. She was asking me behavioral/situational questions and mostly about my resume/experience. After she left I was feeling confident. But once the second interviewer came in you could tell she was STRICTLY business only. As soon is she walked in I saw the calculator in her hand and knew there was a math test coming. While administering the 'math test' she was talking about how bad she was at math. She literally asked me "Am I scaring you?" She asked me about the field and why I wanted to get into programmatic. Then the third recruiter was ok, but seemed extremely depressed and not excited about the job, company, or anything really. When I asked the last two interviewers what they like best about working at Spark they basically said the data. RUN FOR THE HILLS if you're a recent college grad, unless you love data and strictly working only. There is zero company culture and they made that very clear. The best part apart the interview was the first interviewer and the office space.
- What is your understanding of programmatic, and what motivates your interest in this field?
- Tell me about your background and experience related to this role.
- Can you complete this math test?
Search Analyst
It was a challenging yet fair interview, more of a relaxed one-on-one with a director at their office. The interview included questions about basic industry knowledge relevant to your experience level and how you'd apply that to new accounts.
- What's an area your previous manager identified for improvement?
