First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SPAR Group.
Cashier Stocker
It was a straightforward interview with standard questions, focusing on basic personal information. Interestingly, the person interviewing me wasn't the actual interviewer, but they were friendly and easy to talk to.
- What motivates you to seek employment with us?
Merchandiser
The interview and onboarding process was really great. All my questions were answered clearly over the phone, and I received training along with standard operating procedures available on an app. My recruiter, Varun, and my area lead, Bonnie, were both fantastic throughout the process.
- Can you describe your experience with performing resets?
Client Service Manager
The first interview was in-person with two managers and lasted about 2 hours. It wasn't all direct questions but more of a casual conversation about past jobs and learning about the company. After that, I had two phone interviews, one with management and another with HR.
- What are the top three duties in the job you now have or in your most recent job?
- What are some typical decisions that you make and how do you make them?
- What do you think you would do for this organization that someone else wouldn’t?
Account Manager
The interview process was pretty standard. I had two interviews, with a Director each time. They mostly wanted to understand how I'd contribute to the team. Since Account Managers work closely with their Director, they also try to get a feel for your personality to make sure you're a good fit.
- Can you share an instance where you and a manager had differing views on a course of action?
- What steps did you take in that situation?
- How did you resolve the disagreement?
