First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Spacesaver.
Project Manager
Had a first interview with HR, it was pretty basic, they asked about my experience and background as a PM. I'm waiting to hear back about the second interview. The experience has been good so far and the company seems very flexible.
- What kind of project workload do you typically handle?
Program Analyst
The interview was laid-back. They went over what spacesaver does, asked about my past experiences, and discussed my goals and intentions. Since I had an employee referral, my process might have been quicker than usual. They really focused on whether my personality would be a good fit for the team. They also inquired about my skill set and were keen to hear why I wanted to learn the business and the job.
- They asked about my knowledge level and wanted me to explain things that I knew but perhaps needed more work on.
Installer
Had a really open and honest one-on-one chat with the HR director. They made me feel pretty relaxed. The company seems to want you to grow with them and take on new challenges as they come up. They appreciate people who help out others.
- What are your goals?
Sales Development
I had two phone interviews and then one in-person meeting. The person I met with for the face-to-face wasn't super experienced at interviewing, but I felt like it went really well. It was basically an hour-long chat that seemed to go great. I got an email yesterday saying they're moving forward with other candidates who are a better fit. I have a Masters in Business Management and seven years of experience... pretty disappointing.
