First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Space Dynamics Laboratory.
Software Engineer Intern
It was pretty straightforward, but I was surprised by the number of interviewers in the one 30-minute meeting. They asked a few personal questions and then threw in some easy coding questions, which caught me off guard.
- For the FizzBuzz coding challenge, what would you do to stop users from encountering issues?
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
Software Engineer
I submitted my resume at a university career fair. They interviewed me right there and said they'd reach out if they were interested. Later, they called to invite me to their campus for more interviews. They told me to bring my own laptop for some live coding and gave me the details. When I got there, they asked me some questions, and then immediately said they wanted to make an offer. We toured the campus, and I left. Months later, the offer was finalized, and I accepted it after trying to negotiate it a bit. Honestly, there weren't as many technical questions as I expected coming out of college.
- Could you write a linked list class live?
- Write a linked list class while we watch.
Software Engineer
It was super chill. They had me put together a slide deck and then present it for the interview. We connected well, and they seemed happy with my performance.
- Tell me more about the content of your slide deck.
