First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Southwest Solutions.
Prevention Coordinator
It was a pretty simple process. Started with a phone call, then we had two video calls over Zoom. The first Zoom was with my potential direct manager, and the second one was with a group of executives. There was about a week or two between each interview.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Intern
The interview had two parts: a phone call and a Zoom meeting. The first phone call was casual, like a get-to-know-you chat, and the recruiter asked some basic behavioral questions. The Zoom call included the hiring manager and recruiter, and they asked more behavioral questions. No case study was involved.
- Can you share an experience where you had to work with a challenging team member?
Software Engineer
It was three rounds with three people, done both online and in person. They checked technical, personal, and logical reasoning skills. They asked at least 5 questions over 30 minutes, spread across three days with different timings and modes: phone, live video, and a personal meeting.
- Could you explain test-driven development and how you would implement it in a project?
L&D Specialist
We exchanged emails and then had a video interview. It lasted about 45 minutes. After that, they ghosted me completely, which felt really unprofessional and rude. Interestingly, they updated the job posting after I gave them some feedback.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What are your core values?
