I emailed my resume to the coordinator for the Campus Ambassador role, detailing my attendance at a large school without a current Southern Tide Ambassador, my involvement in extracurriculars, and my prior experience in retail and marketing. They only responded by asking for my Instagram profile, and after I sent it, I never heard back. It seems like the position is decided based on social media strength.

I applied online through their website and heard back a few weeks later about a phone interview. I chatted with a recent grad who used to be a campus ambassador and had moved up in the company. It was a pretty laid-back chat where they mainly wanted to hear about my campus involvement and any ideas I had for marketing the company at my school. I haven't heard of anyone not getting an offer, but they typically only select one to two ambassadors per school, depending on its size.

It was a pretty straightforward process. The staff seemed friendly. The interview was conducted over Zoom. I first met with the hiring manager, and then I met with the current customer service reps, which was good to get a feel for who I'd be working with.
