First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Southern States Management Group.
Customer Service Representative
The job involves going to places like Walmart or SAMS Club to get people to sign up for DirectV or AT&T. The second interview is a 2-hour session to see if this is a job you'd be interested in doing.
- Tell me about your sales experience.
- Are you familiar with our services?
Management Training
First interview was about 20 minutes with a lead rep, and it was very basic interview questions. Came back the next day for the second round of interviews which was heading into the field. It was going to Sams with a lead rep to learn more about the sales job: getting people to sign up for Directv. You'll know if you got the job by the end of the second interview. Lead reps and manager are genuinely nice; the HR lady was more of a fake nice personality.
- What makes you a good candidate for this position?
Account Manager
Questions were all about me and my background of work. Manager was very professional about my questions with the company as well. I have to say that after reading all the reviews on here. I feel that you should take it upon your own judgement as not all on here that is negative is true from my actual research.
- Have I ever done sales before?
Sales Representative
The process was super professional. I got detailed instructions via email. The first interview was a casual chat with the owner about the role and next steps. Then I was invited for a second interview at the company's commercial location.
- Can you tell me about your sales background and how it applies to this role?
