Applied online with resume and cover letter. Followed up by email after a week. Got an interview notice via email about 3 weeks after the posting closed. Had a phone interview with about 4 people from the search committee. Got offered a second interview about a week later. Then had a face-to-face interview with panels, did a presentation for a 'sales pitch', and then a 1:1 interview with the Director.

They flew me out for a few rounds of interviews after an initial screen. I had to prepare a long presentation with no feedback. If you don't align perfectly with their ultra progressive ideals, then don't bother applying. Especially if you ever might make them feel like they aren't progressive enough. They take pride in that.
