I sent in my application and got a call back the very next day. I chatted with a recruiter and they scheduled me for an interview the following week. The interview was with the department manager, where we introduced ourselves and then they asked me some questions about how I'd handle different situations. The manager was really open with communication and answered all the questions I had.

It started with a phone screen, then a group panel interview. There were supposed to be four interviewers, but only two showed up on time, and another joined halfway through. When the late interviewer arrived, they repeated two questions we had already covered, which really shifted the mood. I interviewed on Monday and was told to expect an update the following Wednesday. I emailed the hiring manager on Wednesday with no reply, and called on Friday. When I still hadn't heard back by the next Wednesday (a week after the initial expected check-in), I contacted HR. HR informed me that recruiters are involved in hiring, the hiring manager would be out of office for a week, and they had already decided to hire someone else. If I hadn't followed up with HR, I would have waited another week at least, and possibly been ghosted. It was disappointing how my time felt disrespected both during and after the panel.

Behavioral Technical

The hiring manager was great to work with and we had a peer interview. After that, I got an email follow up, but it was handled poorly and I was given a very short time to respond. Overall, the process included a phone interview, a peer interview, and an email follow-up.
